DJ4U was founded in December of 1998 in Canton, IL by Jason Parkinson. Jason wanted to create a mobile DJ company that was focused on more than just playing music and taking people's money. With the help of co-founder Bill Froom, Jason started what has become one of the leading mobile entertainment services in downstate Illinois. The proprietary DJ4U method of entertaining has produced hundreds of satisfied clients at hundreds of events over the years. In 2002, Jason added an additional unit to the DJ4U arsenal, operated by his brother John Parkinson. This second unit, dubbed DJ4U 2.0, allowed the company to create even more great memories for more people every year. Currently, DJ4U operates multiple DJ systems in Canton, Peoria, Macomb, Galesburg and Bloomington/Normal and is expanding into the Quad Cities, St. Louis and Chicago area.
